Thoughts on Ministry of Sound: The Annual 2011

Alright guys, so i havent posted in a while but ill recap you guys onto the things you need to know about this post.

So its summer time, the schools are done and I decied to chill in the Philippines which is my nationality :D

The flight went Toronto --> Hong Kong and then Hong Kong --> Philippines

The Hong Kong flight was 16 hours long and the Philippines flight was 2 hours long.
So while I was on the Hong Kong flight, I watched like 5 movies and listen to some music.
The music that the plane had surprised me when I saw Ministry of Sound: The Annuals 2011 album.

I had to say i was impressed with it having some of my favorites like:
Afro Nuts by Yolanda Be Cool
Dirtee Disco by Dizzee Rascal
Gold Dust by DJ Fresh

And a whole lot more

Justice: Album Anticipation :O

I'm pretty sure you guys know about Justice's latest single "Civilization"
If you haven't here a look at it: Justice - Civilization
Sounds familiar now right? Probably cause it was in that new Adidas commercial.
You may have seen it in theatres or your tv.

Anyways, I hope when Justice release a new album it will have the song Planisphere in it.
Now you're probably thinking "LOL dude wtf u talkin bout? HEUR DERP"
Well, if you've been paying attention, you may have notice on Justice's myspace,
they created a song called "Planisphere"

It goes into 4 parts since its a REALLY long song. But it worth the time.
I found it a while ago (maybe last year or later) and though I could share it with you people.

Hey Guys! Over the christmas and new years break, I received alot of $$$

And because I'm too lazy to download songs separately, I'm buying full albums.

And since I'm buying albums, I will be reviewing them.

So to start of with "Fist of God" by MSTRKRFT

Album: Fist of God

Genre: Indie Rock, Electronic

Artist: MSTRKRFT

The album starts of good with "It Ain't Love" featuring Lil' Mo. Like most of MSTRKRFT songs, you'll be boppin your head back and fourth to the beat of the sound.

The best songs would be "1,000 Cigarettes, Fist of God, So Deep, and Breakaway." Maybe cause they are songs you could listen repeatedly. Unlike the other ones, that may last for a few days.

My least favorite song in the album is most likely "Word Up" cause it sounds like total crap. It starts off with saying "Motherf*cker" a lot. Then it just gets messed.

But it is YOUR choice to buy the album. Because we all have different taste in music. This review is just to let you know which ones are good (in my opinion).

Album Reviews: Romborama by The Bloody Beetroots

Alright guys, it's 2:35 a.m. on Sunday and I doubt I can make this album review proper but I'll try anyways.

So I am going to be reviewing the album "Romborama" by "The Bloody Beetroots"

Album: Romborama
Genre: Electronic
Artist: The Bloody Beetroots

First of all, if you love good synth sound I HIGHLY suggest that you get this album. ALL of its songs are extremly good and the sounds are just amazing.

The album starts nice with "Romborama" with little screamin in it but not enough to make someone hate it. "Have Mercy On Us" is probably one of my favorite songs in the album because it has that mysterious feel that you LOVE to hear. "Storm" has that weird horror type atmosphere to it. With the toy piano tune it give you a scary feel.

"Awesome" is when you can get to your rapping side of yourself. With half rap and half synth is a win-win situation for everyone. From "Conelius" to "Talkin' In My Sleep" there are some pretty decent synths.

"2nd Streets Have No Name" has that violin sound everyone enjoys. "Butter" is one of my favorite songs in the album. With the Hard Piano part half way into the song its impossible for me to not enjoy it.

"Warp 1.9" is the most known song in the album. I don't know why but I will guess its deals with something mainstream (ew mainstream *shiver*).

"Little Stars" is the BEST song in the album, to me its so hilarious. You must check it out.

"Come LA" is the same thing except with a different voice.

(Tracks I haven't spoken of are decent aswell)

So I a "nutshell" this is the best album I've ever purchased anywhere. Once again I HIGHLY recommened getting it.

Hey guys, its's still exams and I don't feel like studying so I will review an album for you guys!

Today I will be reviewing "Immersion" by Pendulum!

Album: Immersion
Genre: Drum 'n' Bass, Dubstep
Artist: Pendulum

The album starts off well with 8-bit type sounds in "Genesis" and begins to become more progressive with the synth in "Salt In The Wounds". "Set Me On Fire" is where you hear the Dubstep part of the album. Then from that you can hear alot of good synth.

My favourite songs in the album would be "The Vulture, The Island Pt. II (Dusk), and Immunize". If I rated them 4 stars, they have a good synth in them. Most of the songs have GREAT synths in them.

Least favorite song in the album would be "Self vs. Self (feat. In Flames)" because it's like "Hardcore, Metal, Screamo song" and from then on, the album becomes smooth and easy and ends with splashing waves in "Encoder"

Well it's almost the 2011 but I just wanna make this clear... Pitbull is a jerk. I just found out that my favorite party song (Cream by Federico Franchi) was just ripped off by that dickhead. It's called "Krazy" and it basically ripped off the original. I read all the comments on the "Krazy" video, and they are completely mindless of Cream, which is the original song. And that is what pisses me off them most. Mainstream artist take old/the good songs and make them worse. And this isn't the first time Pitbull has done it.

This is like the main music you can dance anything with. I heard that this is also known as "Sexplosive" by Dvj Bazuka. Either way its a great party song.

Wale ft. Lady Gaga - Chillin (Wideboys Club Mix)
This will get everyone bouncing not matter what. If you play this anywhere, you get someone to bounce with it. The song they sampled off is "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye' by Steam (which is a very popular song back in the oldies)

TBA - Jingle Bells (Club VD Mix Original Mix)
Here's you christmas party song. Trust me I have to move along with it and I'm not the only one. I'm pretty sure alot of people enjoy it aswell.

Techtonik or Hardstyle Shuffle

Hey guys, I wanna know your thoughts on which is better? Techtonik or Hardstyle Shuffle?
I'm on Hardstyle Shuffle's side because I can Shuffle and Jumpstyle. But I want your thoughts on both.
To me, Shuffling requires alot of skill and Jumpstyle requires alot of cardio. But Techtonik on the other hand looks like your trying to be gay and cool at the same time. I respect people who can do it, I just think its looks "unusual" :P Some of my friends do Techtonik and were cool around each other. Anyways I don't want this to become a flame war so I'll end it here.
